After establishing the new royal order, Tonklyn encounters Xintalan on the tower over the palace. She asks him whom he will serve.
When Exakas returns, Tonklyn must dominate all of the Dragons or his balance of power will crumble. He declares himself the High King.
Kirraxal holds court as the new Dragon King. The Church of Three Lights challenges him, but are put down swiftly.
Xintalan becomes the Dragon Queen, and she’s not at all happy about it. Kirraxal announces that they will soon return to the mountain palace.
The old king of Twynne Rivers confronts Kirraxal, and is killed. Kirraxal becomes the king.
Xintalan and Telix attack a flight of high elven dragonriders. As they attack, they sing an ancient song encouraging the other dragons to uprise.
